*A Night with the Pacific Climate Warriors*



Tuesday, October 21st 6pm  Hayden Allen Tank, ANU

This October, 30 Pacific Climate Warriors will journey to Australia.  They
bring with them an important message: 'the Australian fossil fuel industry,
with the support of our governments and big lenders, are planning to build
gigantic new coal mines that would double Australia's coal exports. This
fuels climate change, it fuels the destruction of Pacific.'

 On *Tuesday, October 21st*, two of these warriors - *Isso Nihmei from
Vanuatu, *and* Viemwa Boraoi from Kiribati* - will share with us their
first hand experiences on climate change in their home nations, and their
thoughts on the rest of the world's role moving forward.



Join us at *6pm* at the *Hayden Allen Tank *for these inspiring talks,
followed by an evening of food, music, discussion, and climate change
videos from around the Pacific

 This event is brought to you as a collaboration between 350.org, Pasifika
Student Society and the Micronesian & Australian Friends Association
(MAFA).
