[ANU Pacific.Institute] PI updates and calls for new Board members

Dear PI members

Please find attached the minutes of the Board meeting on 8 December.  One of the items you will note is the call for expressions of interest in serving on the Board and on the various subcommittees.  Please contact me or Chris if this is of interest to you.  We need you!!

We also ask that current Board members confirm with Chris or myself (before the end of the year if possible) your willingness or otherwise to remain on the Board in 2016.

Also, we would like to draw everyone's attention to the recent CAP announcement of the inaugural round of Strategic Partner Development Grants for 2016.  Four grants of $10,000 will be awarded, and the application deadline is 15 Feb 2016.  The purpose of the grants to help build strategic partnerships between CAP and partner institutions within the Asia Pacific region.  We encourage non CAP PI members to collaborate with CAP PI members and please let us know if we can facilitate this.
