[ANU Pacific.Institute] board meeting and UK HC

Dear PI members

Two matters.  First, I want to alert you to the next PI Board meeting at 1pm on 8 December in the SSGM Reading Room.  As always, non-Board members are welcome to attend but please let us know ahead of time.  A final agenda will be circulated before the meeting but the provisional agenda items are set out below.  Please let Chris or I know if there is any other item anyone would like added to the agenda.


Second, please be advised that the UK High Commissioner to Fiji, Roddy Drummond, will be in Canberra on 25 November and wanted to know if anyone would be interested in meeting with him?  In addition to Fiji, Roddy is accredited to Kiribati, Tonga, Tuvalu, RMI and FSM. He is also head of the UK Government's South Pacific Network.  If you are interested then please email joanne.wallis at anu.edu.au<mailto:joanne.wallis at anu.edu.au> who is organising his visit.
