[ANU Pacific.Institute] Water governance in Oceania Forum - 22-23 Nov @ ANU

Dear All,

A inter-disciplinary and practice-focussed forum will be held next week on
Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 of November on *Water Governance in Oceania, *which
will present and discuss the findings and perspectives of a Fonds Pacifique
funded project.

Speakers and discussants on the two days will include:

   - Mr Taaniela Kula, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Lands and Natural
   Resources, The Kingdom of Tonga
   - Mr Teitibwebwe Kaberiera, Public Utilities Board, Republic of Kiribati
   - Dr Caroline Lejars, Reseacher at CIRAD, (UMR G-EAU) and Associate
   Researcher at IAC, New Caledonia
   - Dr Anne Poelina, Managing Director of Madjulla Incorporated, is a
   Nyikina Traditional Custodian from the Mardoowarra, Lower Fitzroy River in
   the West Kimberley region of Western Australia
   - Dr Nils Ferrand, Researcher at the French National Research Institute
   of Science and Technology for Environment and Agriculture (IRSTEA, G-EAU)
   - Mr Tony Falkland, water engineer, Island Hydrology Services, Canberra
   - Prof Ian White, Emeritus Professor of Water Resources, Fenner School
   of Environment and Society
   - Prof Quentin Grafton, Professor of Economics and UNESCO Chairholder in
   Water Economics and Transboundary Water Governance, Crawford School of
   Public Policy
