Are you presenting at the Pacific History Association conference in UK in early December 2018 (http://pha.maa.cam.ac.uk/pha/)? Are you a graduate student? Are you from the Island Pacific or from Australia or New Zealand? If so, you might be interested in applying for funding support from The Journal of Pacific History (JPH).

JPH has a limited sum of money available to help graduate-student presenters attend. Brief applications should be sent via email to jph at anu.edu.au<mailto:jph at anu.edu.au> by 5pm Monday, 3rd September 2018.
Applications should provide:

*         details of the applicant's graduate student status and university affiliation;

*         by way of email attachment, an abstract of the applicant's presentation plus notification of that presentation's acceptance;

*         information as to whether the applicant's home is in the New Zealand, Australia or the Islands of the Pacific;

*         information as to whether the applicant has available to him or her other sources of funding support to attend the conference or has accepted other sources of funding support (please note that this funding support includes any funding support available or supplied from the applicant's institution);

* details of the applicant's bank account for direct payment, although other options are possible.
The Journal appreciates that the costs of presenting at the conference can be daunting, and aims to be flexible while providing the maximum benefit possible. Applications from presenters of Islander heritage are especially welcome.

JPH will acknowledge receipt of every application and will notify applicants of the outcomes of their applications by Friday 7th September.

Further queries can be directed to jph at anu.edu.au<mailto:jph at anu.edu.au>.
