Dear Pacific Institute members,

The first stage of the Pacific Virtual Museum pilot is now live at www.digitalpasifik.org<http://www.digitalpasifik.org>

The Pacific Virtual Museum aims to provide access to Pacific cultural heritage items held in the world’s museums, libraries, archives, universities, and other institutions . The project was implemented by the National Library of New Zealand Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa in collaboration with National Library of Australia and supported by DFAT.
Representatives of collecting institutions from across the Pacific, including the ANU Archives and PAMBU, have been active members of the PVM Co-Design group<https://digitalpasifik.org/about-us#co-design-group>.

Contributions of content to digitalpasifik.org will continue, including the ingest of material from the ANU Archives and Library.

Please do connect with digitalpasifik
