Bung Wantaim Seminar Series with Almah Tararia and Anita Togolo
Thursday 29 October, 2-3pm AEDT

The Australian National University (ANU) Pacific Institute is hosting an online seminar series to bring together Pacific Islander Higher Degree Research (HDR) students and HDR students who study the Pacific to showcase their important research from across the ANU.

The Bung Wantaim Seminar Series will feature presentations by a variety of scholars from different perspectives and disciplines with a view to share their knowledge with the Pacific research community at the University.

During the first seminar in this series, Almah Tararia will discuss women’s political participation and decision making at the local level in Papua New Guinea (PNG), and Anita Togolo will examine the evolution of the local business development program and Indigenous entrepreneurship in PNG.

This seminar will be held via Zoom and be recorded. There will be a Q&A session after each presentation.
