Hi Everyone,

The spring is here, and I'd like to revive the old custom of Tok Pisin lunches, so I'm inviting you to come and join us for a lunch-time chat in Tok Pisin.

Whether you're from PNG or from anywhere else, if you like to speak Tok Pisin, please come and join us. We'll put English aside, and converse in Tok Pisin. Don't worry if you're not a fluent speaker, we'll try to help you with it.

If you know of anyone who'd like to join us, please invite them to come along, so we can meet Tok Pisin speakers from all over the campus (and beyond).

But as COVID-19 is not over yet, and Uni House is not open, I suggest that we meet in the sitting area in front of the Menzies library. There's a table and a few benches under a tree to the left from the main entrance to the library, enough space to sit as far apart as necessary, yet close enough to be able to talk. Please bring your own coffee/lunch/...

Feel free to forward this message to anyone who might be interested in joining us.

See you on Thursday at 12:30 in the barbecue area outside the Menzies Library.

Cheers,
Darja
