Pacific institute members may be interested in a webinar on research methods in a (post) COVID Pacific. It is aimed at research students, but I think it might also be of interest to academics thinking about these issues.
Below and attached are details. The webinar is at 7am AEDT this Thursday. I am fairly sure that is the timezone conversion from midday Pacific Standard Time.

Dear colleagues,
I hope you are doing well and staying grounded during these difficult times. I am writing to share a roundtable and discussion on "Post(COVID) Research Methods: Thinking Innovatively about Transoceanic Studies" that will take place on Thursday, April 1st from noon-1:30pm (Pacific Standard Time). COVID has challenged us to think differently about how we do research. This workshop will explore what tools and theoretical frameworks exist to help think more innovatively about research in transoceanic studies. Please see the attached flyer for more information and Zoom registration details.
This roundtable is primarily directed at graduate students, though others are of course welcome to attend. I would appreciate your help circulating this flyer to interested parties. We also plan to send the flyer directly to the AAS MA student and grad concentrator listservs. Thanks in advance!
Best,
