[ANU Pacific.Institute] Invitation to Tracing Lifeworlds: CHL Graduate Symposium 2021

Dear Pacific Institute community,

The first-ever CHL Graduate Symposium 2021 is set to take place online via Zoom next Thursday, 9 September in the mid-semester break.

This event, themed Tracing Lifeworlds will showcase the strength and diversity of research conducted by CHL HDR students through traditional, experimental and creative modes of presentation!

The event is now 1 day long, featuring a keynote by Dr Eva Nisa and followed by 18 different student presentations from the disciplines of Anthropology, Archaeology and Natural History, Gender, Media and Cultural Studies, Linguistics, Pacific and Asian History and Sinology/Chinese Studies.

There will be several presentations on Pacific related topics including those from Lisa Hilli, Jenny M'bern Homerang, Talei Luscia Mangioni, Hipolitus Wangge and Bruma Rios Mendoza!
