[ANU Pacific.Institute] Pacific-themed Anthropology seminars in semester 1

Dear Pacific Institute members,

The regular Monday-afternoon Anthropology seminar series begins next week on 28 February with a talk from Miranda Forsyth on "Sorcery Accusation Related Violence: Fighting the Wildfire of SARV." Seminars are free and open to all. We meet from 3:00-4:00pm in the RSSS Building, room 2.56, but will also stream (but not record) the seminars on Zoom: meeting ID: 937 9210 4939, Passcode: 800615.

Another Pacific-themed seminar is on 2 May, when Tarryn Phillips, Jack Taylor, Edward Narain and Philippa Chandler (Latrobe University) will present: "'Our Bula Spirit Awaits You!' (When Borders Reopen): Indigenous Wellbeing and Romanticised Inequality in Post-COVID Tourism Campaigns."
