Hello Pacific Institute members.
Professor Robert J. Foster, an anthropologist from the University of Rochester, will be giving a presentation next Monday about his research on the use of mobile telephones in Papua New Guinea. This will be a hybrid event, with both in-person attendance on the ANU campus and remote login options available. To register and for more details, please go to: https://dpa.bellschool.anu.edu.au/news-events/events/8390/becoming-obsolete-time-citizenship-and-infrastructure-papua-new-guinea
For further information on the speaker, see his profile at this link: https://www.sas.rochester.edu/ant/people/faculty/foster_robert/index.html
My apologies for the short notice, but I thought that this may be of interest to some Pacific Institute members
