There are three upcoming events that may be of interest to Pacific Institute members.

Firstly, the Department of Pacific Affairs will be hosting a lecture on the Pacific response to the concept of an “international rules-based order”. Details are below.

Secondly, there will be a public lecture on sub-national governance in Papua New Guinea. Dr Mark Moran from the University of Queensland will present a talk titled “Leadership Beyond State Limits: The Political Economy of Subnational Governance in PNG”. Details are below.

Thirdly, an exhibition of images and stories of temporary migration from the Pacific to Australia will be displayed in the RSSS Foyer (146 Ellery Crescent, Acton) from Thursday 13 March to Friday 28 March 2025. The exhibition launch will feature a public panel discussion hosted by ABC Radio National's Natasha Mitchell. Details are below.
