Hi there,

Hope this email finds you well.
The ANU Papua New Guinea Students Association kindly seeks your support in promoting our upcoming event, the PNG 50 for 50 Symposium, to be held on Thursday, 11 September at the Australian National University.
As Papua New Guinea commemorates 50 years of independence, this symposium offers a timely opportunity to reflect on the nation's journey since 1975 and explore the vision for the next 50 years. The event will bring together academics, policymakers, students, and development partners to engage in meaningful dialogue about PNG's past, present, and future.
Featured speakers include:

  * Mr Joe Warisan, Deputy High Commissioner of PNG to Australia

  * Dr Justin Lee, First Assistant Secretary, DFAT

  * Dr Albert Mellam, Former Vice-Chancellor, UPNG

  * Professor Meg Keen, ANU Department of Pacific Affairs
Please find the program attached.
We invite people to register to attend in person (limited spaces available) or join us online.
Thank you for your support in sharing this important event with your networks.
Kind regards
Mercy (on behalf of ANU Student Associaton)
