</span></i><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">investigates different collaborative dimensions of poetic<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">events across the Oceanian sea of islands. The project combines three integrated project<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">streams: the first sets out to challenge text-based approaches to postcolonial poetry more<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">generally. It studies Pacific Islander poetry by attending to the sonic assemblages it sustains<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">and creates between and across human, yet also more-than-human presences and the<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">material world. The second project stream focusses on the collaborative politics of a new<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">generation of poets who seek new medial forms to combat climate injustice and ongoing<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">patterns of colonisation. The third project stream sets out to build a curated archive of<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">Oceanian video poems.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">poetry (anglophone and/or francophone) in the context of decolonisation and/or climate<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">justice. However, any project proposal that makes a vital contribution to the study of<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">Oceanian poetry is welcome. Applicants must have completed an M.A. degree or equivalent,<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">ideally in Literary Studies, English, French, or a related field. The working language of the<o:p></o:p></span></p>
