<i>Tok Pisin Language and Cultural Awareness</i> is a short intensive course that combines basic language learning with deep cultural awareness training. The course goes on for 4 days (+ 1 day for assessment) and is offered online, with 5-6 hours of face-to-face
classes per day. Morning sessions start with language and then gradually turn to discussions about the issues that prove to be most challenging to foreigners who come to Papua New Guinea. Course materials include video-footage of real-life situations, which
form a basis for discussions. After the daily class, participants watch a film (carefully chosen high-quality observational documentaries showing real life), do some language exercises and read a few chapters as preparation for the next day – all of which
contributes to their immersion in aspects of PNG life and culture.</div>
