Dear Friends,<br>
<br>
A call for projects is launched by the Permanent Secretariat for the Pacific,<br>
for funding from the "Fund for Economic, Social and Cultural Cooperation for<br>
the Pacific", or "Pacific Fund".<br>
Deadline: 31 December 2025<br>
<br>
Projects submitted must :<br>
- Associate at least one of the three French territories in the Pacific (New<br>
Caledonia, French Polynesia, Wallis and Futuna) in a partnership with an<br>
independent Pacific State.<br>
- Include mandatory co-financing : the Pacific Fund contribution must not<br>
exceed 50% of the total project cost.<br>
<br>
Priority will be given to projects that are likely to have a lasting, concrete<br>
and perceptible impact for the beneficiary populations.<br>
Applications for the organisation of symposium or conferences for which the<br>
required grant is to finance travel expenses will not be prioritized.<br>
The eligible themes for 2026 are those related to sport, as a vector of<br>
cooperation and exchanges between Pacific territories and States, the<br>
development of the audiovisual sector and promotion of the Francophonie. More<br>
broadly those related to the “Strategic Plan 2022-2031” of the Pacific<br>
Community and the “2050 for the Pacific Blue Continent” strategy of the<br>
Pacific Islands Forum, in particular : climate resilience, food security,<br>
sustainable economy, public health, protection of natural resources,<br>
connectivity and social development.<br>
Finally, a cross-cutting priority objective will aim to enhance the commitment<br>
of young people from French Pacific territories in the region, which can in<br>
particular rely on the deployment of international solidarity volunteers.<br>
