[Papuanlanguages] new to the list

Doug Marmion tells me that it's customary to send a short email to the
list introducing yourself. Keeping with tradition, let me introduce
myself. I am a Ph.D student in the Pioneers of Island Melanesia project at
the MPI in Nijmegen. I work on Rotokas, a Papuan language spoken in
Bougainville. I'm writing up now.

Before moving into Melanesia, I worked on Mayan languages (specifically,
Tzotzil and Tzeltal). I also have a strong interest in computational
linguistics.
