Hi, dear list organizers!
Looks like I subscribed myself again - I only did this because I decided
to introduce a password. Just to let you know.

Subject: [PapuanLanguages] README (managing your subscription)
Hello everyone,
Apologies if this is familiar ground, but I thought it might be helpful
to have it in the archives.
You can subscribe to this list from the following page:
<http://mailman.anu.edu.au/mailman/listinfo/papuanlanguages>
Anyone can subscribe, but the list administrators try to ensure that new
subscribers are genuine. Postings from subscribers are unmoderated.
Subscriptions are by email address, not by name. If you find that you
can't post to the list it is probably because you are not using your
subscribed address.
Use the info page to check your subscription details, change your
address, password, or mailing preferences, or to view the list of
subscribers.
The subscriber list can only be seen by subscribers. If you don't want
your address to appear there, make the change from the info page.
You need a password to make changes to your subscription. The system
gives you a password when you subscribe, if you don't set one yourself.
If you don't know what your password is, you can go to the info page and
ask the system to email it to you. The administrators can't access your
password.
Please use the info page for simple problems, rather than contacting the
list administrators. We use basically the same tools as are available to
you there.
Otherwise, please contact us. The list administrators are:
"Doug Marmion" <dem at coombs.anu.edu.au>
"Martin Steer" <m.steer at coombs.anu.edu.au>
