[Psych-Soc] Psych Society Ball 2002 Tickets now on sale!

Hi everyone,

Just a reminder that tickets for the Psych Society 2002 Ball are now on
sale. You can get yours from Michelle in the SA, or from our stall in the
refectory between 12-1 every day. The details for the ball are included
below.

You'd better get in quick because they're only on sale until Friday 18th Oct
(That's friday next week!), since the ball is the day after (Sat 19th).

I'd also like to mention that we will be having two safety officers present
at the Ball, who will not be drinking and will be present to ensure the
safety of everyone attending. This doesn't really mean anything you would
notice, but is a precautionary measure that we're somewhat obligated to
take. So rest assured that you can have a good time with (relatively) few
worries (well, we can't protect you from terrorism nor radioactive zombie
attacks, etc...but we can take some measures to ensure people don't endanger
themselves and/or others)

Oh, and did I mention fairy floss?

The ANU Psychology Society presents:

THE CHILDHOOD DREAMS AND MEMORIES BALL

Saturday October 19 (End of week 11)

7:30 for pre-dinner drinks

Karmel Room, ANU
(upstairs in the Refectory)

Including a 3 course dinner and 4 hours of drinks!

Come dressed as your favourite dream or memory from childhood! Think
Superman, Sleeping Beauty, Voltron, Freudian Oedipal Complexes, and so on...

There'll be paddlepops, fairy floss and more! A jazz band will accompany
dinner, and a DJ will be on for the latter portion of the night.

An after-party will also be held at In Blue, with help from Red Bull.

Tickets are

$45 for members
$50 for non-members

Tickets go on sale the first week back after holidays (week 10).

You can get yours between 12-1 at our table in the refectory, or anytime
from Michelle in the SA building (just above the Commonwealth Bank in Union
Court).
