ANU Psychology Society Re-Launch BBQ

Come along to the relaunch BBQ being held this thursday out the back of the green cucumber (ANU Bar Beer Garden) between 12:30 and 1:30.  This is your chance to join up and get your membership cards, and meet up with fellow psychology students.  Membership is only $5, and the BBQ (and drinks to go with) is free to members.  If you can't come along on the day, please contact us and we will organise something for you.

Events that we are hoping to run through out the year include Pizza, Trivia and Movie nights, your chance to socialise with other psych students and check out movies with a "psychology" theme.. We are also hoping to hold a 'meet a psychologist' series of  lectures, where psychologists working in various fields will speak with us about their line of work, how they got there, and answer any questions you  may have.   A Sydney trip to check out various organisations that employ psychologist.  This is a fantastic opportunity to get a first hand look at potential work places.. and a chance to let lose in the BIG SMOKE!! Having fun is one of the main aims of this trip!  And of course, we will aim at holding a Ball for the end of year as well.

Additional benefits of membership (what? there's more? we hear you say!), are 10% discount on presentation of your membership card at Two sisters Lao restaurant at Dickson. YUMMY!!!
