[Sailingclub] Snow Trip + Bushwalk

Hi all,

Two quick things. Firstly below is details of an ANUMC bushwalking trip next week. Because Im running it sailing club members are welcome to come.

Secondly is anybody interested in a snow trip (whether snowboard, ski, xc ski). If so let me know and if there is enough interest we will run one on a weekend early in Semester 2.

Wog Wog - Corang Peak Midweek Bushwalk
Wednesday 7 - Thursday 8 July 2004

This will be a reasonably easy 2 day bushwalk in the western Budawangs.
Starting early Wednesday morning we will drive to Wog Wog carpark (approx
1.5hrs from Canberra and 30 minutes north of Braidwood). From Wog Wog we
will hike east toward Corang Peak and Corang Arch for views out towards Mt
Owen and Mt Cole. After camping near Canowie Brook we will go as far as
Yurnga Lookout for spectacular views of the coastal escarpment before
heading back on the Thursday. This will be a reasonably easy trip suitable
for beginners (not first timers) with a total distance of approximately
12km a day which is mostly on track.

Pretrip meeting:  Tuesday 6th July 6pm
Costs:  Approx $20
Suitable for:  Beginner
Number limit:  8
