Hi All, if any of you can think of a reason why not to do this, then
your priorities are all wrong. I have to work; that's my excuse. Now
if I was still at uni...
Seriously, however, if anyone is interested, do contact Matt. This
would be an excellent foot in the door to more than just ocean sailing.
David.
The Peace and Nuclear Disarmament Campaign are looking
for expressions of interest for 2 crew to sail the
SV Vega from Port Albert (a week of preparation) to
Melbourne then up the East coast on a Peace tour.
The Vega was owned by David McTaggert and was the
first vessel to sail into the Muraroa French Testing
zone. It has a long history in Greenpeace and Nuclear
and Peace work around the world.
The 2 volunteer crew positions are for up to 7 weeks.
Travel to Port Albert is covered. Food whilst on
board is covered. After the tour the Vega will return
