[Sailingclub] Ski / Snowboard Trip

Hi,

If you are interested in a sailing club ski / snowboard trip send me an email. No details at this stage because the plan depends on how many people are interested and their availability. There are a range of options depending on midweek or weekend, day trip or multi-day, self drive or bus trip and if we go skiing, boarding or cross country skiing.

As an idea of costs an all inclusive 1 day bus trip costs $130 skiing and $150 snowboarding at Thredbo. Self-drive is a little bit more provided you fill the car and therefore share costs (petrol, park entry and snow chains) amoung lots of people. Cross country skiing is incredibly cheap and those who are members of the ANU Mountaineering Club can hire skiis at less than cost price which means that your biggest cost is petrol.
