[Sailingclub] Bateman's Bay Regatta and Social Weekend 21 to 25 April sec: unclassified

Hi all

I am calling for expressions of interest to participate in the Bateman's
Bay  Regatta and social weekend.  

The regatta involves races Saturday afternoon (2 races) and  Sunday
morning/early afternoon. Members are invited to race, have a social sail
or just enjoy a weekend at the coast.    The bay is protected and
therefore gives an opportunity to enjoy safe sailing in waves and with
cleaner breezes then we get in Canberra.  The wind is generally light
and from the north east (sea breeze).   Surf beaches are nearby and an
early morning surf could be organised.

I am going down Friday afternoon and returning on Monday or Tuesday
(Tuesday being a public holiday).

I will be booking a camping site at Bateman's Bay Beach Resort in
Batehaven.  There are fridges and cooking facilities onsite. Bunkhouse
and cabins are also available

The yellow sharpie is going down and requires a crew member.

If there are enough experienced skippers, we can take 2 tasers down,
several lasers and sailboards.  The number and type is dependant on
demand and cars with tow bars.

Can you please e-mail me with your contact details and which
boat/position you would like and can you provide a car.  I will pair up
people where necessary.

There will be a pre-trip meeting on Thursday 20 April to pack boats
organise lifts.
