Morning All,

Apologies for the generic email. If you have no interest in windsurfers then you need read no further.

Although in the past, it has not been a practice of the club to charge for private windsurfer storage, this is currently under review. One concern that has been expressed is the lack of knowledge of who owns what gear and what its status is. In particular I'm thinking of a Bic board + rig and a Tyronsea board + rigs. Can all those who have private windsurfer gear stored at the club please inform me ASAP of identifying details or characteristics of all components including mast, boom, type of universal joint, board, sail?

It is decided that the rack on which the club keeps rigs above the laser is not to be used for the storage of private rigs. You are to completely de-rig and leave your board, mast, sail, boom and base on one of the racks on the wall near the Hobie Cat. The rationale for this decision is that there is no easy way of identifying which rig belongs to who on the rack above the laser, and it may well be assumed to be club gear. An unwitting user may cause damage to your rig for which the club should not be held responsible.

Cheers,
Paul Glass
