[Sailingclub] Tuross Trip 24-26 Nov

Hi all,

Its time once again for one of the clubs great traditions a relaxing weekend
at the coast!

Basically this is a relaxing weekend hanging out at a surfbeach. The aim is
for members to get to know each other so the traditional BBQ and beach party
on Saturday night is just as important as the watersports! In terms of the
watersports we will be bringing a collection of sailing boats, windsurfers
and kayaks but there is no need to have any prior experience. In fact often
people have had so much fun at the beach they forget about the boats and
kayaks altogether.

Tuross is the ideal location for this weekend because it is only a 2.5hr
drive from Canberra and has a surf beach as well as a sheltered lake for
sailing or those not experienced enough for surf kayaking. In addition we
are camping in a caravan park with full facilities and shops including a pub
and cafe only 10 minutes walk away.

Cost is TBC but last time it was $50 including petrol, 2 nights caravan park
tent site and BBQ food / soft drink on Saturday night. (cheaper for those
just staying 1 night).
