	Hi all,

The clubs beginners sailing course starts at 5pm-8pm tonight at
the clubhouse. There is still some spare spaces so if you want to do the
course but have not registered at the SRA please feel free to turn up
tonight!

	Membership Renewal:

Club membership is about to expire so if you have not yet
renewed your membership for 2007 you will have the opportunity to do so
tonight at the club (turn up between 5pm-8pm).

	Rigging refresher:

Tonight the course will focus on rigging (Laser & Tasar) and
basic theory (sail theory, launching, landing, tacking, gybing, capsize
drill). Given this focus rather than on sailing on the water there is
the opportunity for those who need a refresher on rigging or theory to
come along. Unfortunately given VSU there will be a small charge of $5
for those who have done a course before and $10 for those who have not.

	cheers

	Garrick

At the ANU Beginners course, you'll learn to sail, learn to
race, familiarize yourself with the sailing
club's facilities, and meet lots of people - all at once. No
prior sailing experience is required.
Beginners will start on the Club's fleet of Lasers and Tasars,
which are easy to sail, safe and fun.

be given free club membership allowing unlimited FREE access to
the ANUSC boats throughout the
