Potential Sharpie Sailors
The xmas period has seen an increase in sharpies in the ACT. 2 new
boats have been purchased and the regular fleet will be up around 7 or 8
boats every Saturday.
I will be running Tuesday night training sessions from 6 February for 8
weeks.
The coursed is designed to learn the basics of sharpie sailing and
provide a stepping stone to regular competition. The course is limited
to 6 people, who will grouped into teams of 3 (unless you specify your
own team) and allocated a boat. Each person will be given a specific
role to learn and perfect.
The objective is to build a crew with the confidence and desire to
compete on Wednesday and Saturdays. Additional support and
encouragement will be provided to attend state title weekend in Sydney
(Balmoral Beach, 10/ 11 feb), Lake Wallagoot social weekend (17/18
March) and Bateman's bay end of season (21/22 April)
