Hi All,

For those of you who are unaware the SRA is really whipping us about  
safety, so please please please fill in the sign in book located near  
the lake side exit (kayakers too!) You will notice a column for PDF  
number, this is vital so that in the unlikely event a body is found  
in one of our life jackets we can say who it is based on our records.

We have also had a change in our funding so that we only get funding  
for active members, which has been defined as someone who has sailed  
on one of our boats more than three times in a session. We calculate  
the number of active members from the sign in book so help the club  
get some extra money to spend on facilities, come for a sail and …

Start of Season BBQ and cleaning bee

Sunday, 14 September 2008, 1:00pm - 5:00pm

As winter goes away we can pull out the boats again and go for a  
sail!! Come along for a BBQ and a sail, to celebrate the start of the  
season. There will also be a bit of a club clean up, we need people  
to take the boats out so the floor can be swept, and help with a few  
other odd jobs. If the weather is bad it will be postponed till the  
following weekend.

Market Day – ANUSC in union court

Thursday, 11 September 2008, 9:00am - 3:00pm

There will be an ANUSC stall at the markets in union court today. You  
can renew your membership or sign up for training sessions or just  
come and say hello.

Volunteers will be needed to help out contact Patrick  
u2531628 at anu.edu.au or Alex M min124 at rsphysse.anu.edu.au if you are  
available to help.

ANUSC Open Day

Sunday, 28 September 2008, 12:00pm - 2:00pm
Come along for a traditional ANUSC open day BBQ and chill on the  
grass meet some friendly people or my favorite go for a sail!

You can sign up for our beginner's training course, which starts on  
the same day as well.
