Hello everybody,
Nice working-bee today, with a extraordinary improvement of the club's
general cleanliness, a BBQ, and very good sailing to finish the day.

There is a race coming up in two weeks time, and it is exceptional
enough not to be put only on the sailing club's calendar...
The University of NSW is organizing a big regatta for several
Universities in Australia, and they expect something like 80 students
to show up and race. The competition is going to be in a yard-stick
system (handicap system) so that everybody can sail together. There
will be some windsurfs, monohulls and multihulls (I don't even know if
there is a PY number for kite-surf?).
The race cost 80$ per person, and this includes three days of races,
brunches and BBQs.
There is quite a dense social part to this, with a harbour cruise and
cockatoo island camping (basically camping in the middle of Sydney's
Bay). I think the social part costs 105$.

There are already at least 5 of us going, and more people are welcome.
The registration closes on the 8th for the races and on the 10th for
the social part. We need to organize the cars, trailers and boats
beforehand. We will be sharing cars and costs for the trip.
If you are interested, please send me an email before tuesday noon,
and fill in the form:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pirldDBb_laF_q4QauKPGHw
We will organize the cars, trailers and boats on tuesday afternoon
(and pay just after that).
See you soon
JF
