[ANU Sailing Club] [Committee] AGM

Hello All,

In tandem with Rehan's email, I would also like to say that I will be resigning as Secretary. It has certainly been a challenging few years in the position, dealing with increased scrutiny from the SRA, and with traditional sources of funding drying up with the introduction of voluntary student unionism. I gather that the rest of the executive will also be resigning their positions. It seems that it is time for some new people to step into the positions with some fresh ideas about how to take the club forward.

I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to the various committee members that I have worked with over the past couple of years; in particular Garrick Larkin, Grant Warner, Cindy Wills and Rehan Walsh. Certainly in the time I was in the position, we managed to pass every audit (thereby securing our grant funding for the year), and this takes a significant amount of time and effort.

I will endeavour to make the handover to the new Secretary as painless as possible.
