G'day sailing clubbees,

Work getting three of our boats back in the water for next season is well underway thanks to the stirling efforts of Glen Eaves, the irrepressible Alex Minovich and our secretary-turned-sailmaker Amy Dawel. Good on all you guys... :-)

...but there's still more to do than they can possibly get thru before next season and we need some more willing hands to make the work lighter starting this Thursday at 6.30 till 8.30 at the boat shed.

We need five more people (four working on the Hobie in 20 minute shifts and two getting the sausages cooked and keeping the tunes going in their 10 minute break).

Whose up for it? Please email me back.

We're going to start on the Hobie, then do YOT our veteran Sharpie and then the red Tasar.

If you can't make it this Thursday, please email me back anyway because we'll put on the same deal on another Thursday or do a Sunday afternoon session.

In the meantime, plenty more is being planned for next season, regattas in Sydney and the south coast, social days on the lake with Sydney universities sailing clubs, plus the beginners courses, twilight beginners racing on Tuesdays and grown-ups racing on Wednesdays and Saturdays (that's why we need the boats floating).

Any other ideas drop me a line.

Cheers, Adam Leavesley
Commodore
