Hi everyone!

The sailing
season has really kicked off - with plenty of wind! This weekend we are
having a Women in Sailing Day (sponsored by the SRA). This is a chance
for all women to come down and try out sailing, so bring your
friends/girlfriends/sisters/friends-of-friends. There will be a BBQ and
tea and coffee, so it should be a nice social afternoon as well :) Details are:

ANUSC Women in Sailing Day
Come along, try out sailing, and meet some new friends!
(NO experience necessary)
When: 12 to 5pm Saturday 23 October 2010
Where: ANUSC Sailing Club, Alexandrina Drive, Yarralumla Bay
Bring: clothing and shoes (e.g., old tennis shoes or wetsuitsboots)
that can get a lile wet, and will keep you warm
(changing rooms and showering facilities are available at the club)
A BBQ and tea and coffee will be supplied.
For further details e-mail Amy.Dawel at anu.edu.au
We look forward to seeing you there!!

We are also after some more experienced sailors to
come down and help out (the plan is to have one experienced sailor on
each boat to take visitors out). Please let me know if you can help out.

Hope
 to see you there!

Cheers,

Amy

Officer
