Ahoy there sailors,

Our next beginner’s course is about to kick off. See dates below. Please pass this info onto any mates that are keen to learn to sail – just get them to email me to enrol in the course (details will be up on the website too).

Most importantly we need people to pitch in to help run the course. The course brings in a lot of money for the club, which then goes back into maintaining the boats you all like to sail!

There’s plenty of ways you can help out no matter your level of experience – mainly we just need people around the shed willing to help our beginners rig the boats, and to answer simple questions. Beyond that we need more experienced sailors who are willing to take some of the theory lessons (I’d really like to share the load on this one, so the more the merrier) and people who have a powerboat licence to… drive the power boat!

So please let me know when you are available to help out!

Cheers, Frances
