[ANU Sailing Club] Avoid Club Lockouts by Using the Sign In/Out Computer

Sailors,

Please remember to use the clubhouse computer to sign in and out! And
EQUALLY importantly please remember to check the computer for signed out
sailors BEFORE locking the lakeside roller door!

There is a prominently displayed sign on the door reminding you to do this.
Failing to do this may lead to your expulsion or suspension from the club.

Yesterday I was locked out of the club after returning from windsurfing. By
simply looking at the sign-in computer a certain sailor could have easily
seen that I was still out on the lake. It is no small thing to be wandering
around Yarralumla in a cold wetsuit trying to borrow a phone to affect a
rescue!!! The committee will contact the sailor(s) involved in yesterdays
problem to find out how this happened and if there is any confusion about
signing in, signing out and checking for sailors out on the water.
