Hi everyone,

The beginner's course is about to roll around once again, and we're looking
for club members to help out. Anyone who has completed the beginner's
course is welcome to come and help out, especially on the first day when we
teach rigging boats and the very basics. You'd be surprised at how much
info and know-how you already have and are able to pass on! Anyone who has
done the intermediate course is very welcome to come along - teaching is a
great way of reinforcing knowledge.

We'll be running two courses in parallel this semester. They both begin on
the 19th of February and run for four weekends and three midweeks. Course 1
is 12-3pm on Sundays and 5-8pm on Wednesdays. Course 2 is 3-6pm on Sundays
and 5-8pm on Thursdays. During this time the lasers and tasars will be
spoken for. For regular club members we will aim to open the shed on
Saturdays, Tuesday evenings and Sunday evenings (5:30pm onwards) so that
you still have plenty of time for sailing!

There will also be opportunities for those who are interested in doing
their Powerboat license to get some practical experience (we always need
more people - and if you help out on the courses then the club will pay).
Contact Jennie for more details.

Please visit: http://www.doodle.com/z7dwyzy94t4hxmxq to register your
interest and the days that you can help out. The more people the better!

Thanks
Nick
