1. Tuesday Twilight Sailing with the YMCASC
Come down and improve your sailing skills in a beginners racing format (FREE to ANUSC members). There will be three Lasers and two Tasars available so get down by 5pm or you might miss out.

2. Beginners courses - Wednesday and Thursday Evenings 5pm-8pm
Last week of the beginners courses. Come down and crystallise your knowledge by assisting the beginners. Last week Tom Ginty did a great job helping one of our less confident beginners - well done Tom.

3. ANUSC Club Sailing Day - Saturday 24 March - 12.00 noon till late
Saturday is another opportunity to get down and join in the sailing fun at the Boat Shed. YMCA races are on for anybody who wants to compete (email me and come down at noon so I can get you organised). Plus social sailing all afternoon and a free BBQ. At 6pm we are holding the AGM, followed by a Shed party.

Do you want to have a bigger say on the future direction of our club? What boats would you like to sail? What trips would you to do? What regattas would you like to race in?

Nominate for a position on the committee (there's a list of positions below).

4. Laser Coaching Clinics with the NSW/ACT Laser Association
These are being held at various sailing clubs in Sydney over the coming month. You need to be a member of the Association ($45/year) and the cost is $50/day. Click here for more information:
http://www.laser.asn.au/training.php   Contact me if you would like to reserve a boat for this. NB the last weekend coincides with the coast trip, so boats will be limited.

5. Honeymoon Bay Coast Trip 31 March-1 April
A big weekend of sailing, bushwalking, rockclimbing and seakayaking with the
Mountaineering club. To join the trip sign up with ANUMC and state in the
comments box that you are a sailing club member. Here's the
link: http://anumc.anu.edu.au/node/2924

6. Australian University Sailing Association Fleet Racing Regatta, Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, Sydney, 13-15 April
Join the ANU Sailing Team training squad group for this major national student sailing event (NB: this is open to alumni). We are the current team champions and it would be good to get a team together for 2012 to keep the
trophy in Canberra. We'll run training, appoint a captain and select a team. Visit the AUSA webpage to find out more and put your name on the trip sheet
