[ANU Sailing Club] Results from the End of Season Regatta

Ahoy sailors,

*1) End of season Club Championships*
The season ended well on Saturday with the Club Championships. Andrew Welch
won the overall First Prize, Krystina Cerna was the Top Woman and Tom
Meumann walked away with the Top Novice prize. Thanks to everyone who came
down and sailed and for Alex and Simon's excellent work in the powerboat
setting up the course, with the flags and photographs.

*2) Facebook page*
We have a Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/groups/9715883062/
It has lain dormant for a while (I don't think even I was aware of it) but
its back up and running and has been converted to the new groups format.
There's some great photos from Simon up there from the club championships
and hopefully we'll be making more use of it in the new season.

*3) Winter time*
So now the season has ended, this will be my last regular email for a few
months. Thanks to everyone who has made the season so enjoyable, time for a
well earned rest! The shed is now closed for the winter - the water was
getting really cold by last weekend. However there will be some occasional
opportunities to sail, which we will inform the list about. There'll also
be some socials around once a month or so to meet up with everyone, and the
odd working bee to get our boats into top shape for the new season. In
addition, we'll also start to think about UniGames and setting up a squad
for that. More details in a couple of weeks!
