Hi everyone,

Saturday.
The shed will be open by Etienne from 10 am who then goes to race a sharpie
with YMCA at 14.00

Sunday.
The shed will be open by Alex M. from 12.30 who then goes to CYC races at
14.00.

*Reminder* to those who joined our club not after beginner courses but
claiming that he or she had enough sailing experience. The condition for
getting access to our gear, as it had to be explained to you when you were
signing up, is that you attend an induction session, where you will be
informed which boats you can use, how to use our log book, what to do if
you're the last in the shed, where we keep spare parts. You should also do
a capsize drill in the bay to demonstrate that you're capable to right a
boat you use. Please, contact Nick nick.scroxton at googlemail.com if you want
to arrange an induction session and he'll forward your request to the
committee.

*To all new members.*
Don't be shy to contact committee members before you coming to the shed if
you want to receive any assistance in rigging up a boat or in all other
matters. The best days to do that are weekends or days when a social
sailing session is conducted. If you turn up without notifying anyone in
advance there is a big chance that people might be in a hurry before a race
start and they won't have time to assist you. You can contact Nick
nick.scroxton at googlemail.com and he'll forward your request to a
corresponding person.
