Busy week and weekend coming up :-)


Monday Shed Opening at 4.30pm
Etienne's opening up to take advantage of a good looking breeze this afternoon. That's in 35mins :-)


Tuesday Twilight Beginners Racing and Skills Session - 5pm
This is fun beginners racing and sailing skills development session with the YMCASC. Great way to build confidence for club racing. Get down early to ensure you have a boat.

Wednesday Opening at 5pm
Members competing in the Laser State Titles are holding a de-brief session after the CYC twilight race. Anyone can join in feedback session - $5 to enter the twilight race. Sign on at the CYC sailors cabin. You need to be on the water by 5.30pm so that you don't miss the start.


Saturday and Sunday - ACT Dinghy Champs
On the weekend there's the ACT Dinghy Champs 10-11 November. Great 
chance to race in a proper regatta without the driving for people who 
have done a few Saturday or Wed night races. Entry is $50 before 7 
November or $65 on the day.


Rules of Racing Talk

This is happening at the CYC on 13 November 6pm-8pm. Good idea to 
attend especially those people who are thinking of racing in the Laser 
States (thx Tom for reminding me of this).

Pacer Repairs

Varnishing is finished, still might need some more fibre-glassing. Now its a job for jigsaw puzzlers trying to remember how it all goes back together :-o Thanks to Werner, 
Malte, Simon, Alex and Shaun for chipping in on this project. BTW: We;re looking for two more Pacers to use for beginners courses and for teams racing training.


Sharpie Sailing
Jules, Izzy, Simon and Sanne have been racing the blus Sharpie YOT. On 
Saturday they took the fleet by surprise getting away second from the start and, mixing it up with some of the most experienced hands. Well done to them.
