[ANU Sailing Club] shed opening this week + IMPORTANT: AUSA Feet Race

Hi everyone,

*Tuesday, 16.30 *
Shed will be opened by Tom, Michael and Alex for beginner twilights

*Wednesday, 16.50*
Alex will most probably open the shed, but he'll confirm it on Tuesday via
facebook.

*IMPORTANT:*
Those who would like to participate in the Australian University Fleet Race
should notify about it ASAP such that we will have enough time to arrange
cars and boats, read below.

Coming events:
*3-5 Apr,*
**Australian University Fleet Race, Illawara Yacht Club, Wollongong
Entry fees are around $80 per person ($50 race fees +~$10 per night for
camping).

1. Our 2-trailer capacity is limited to 7 sailors: 3 lasers + 2 tasars.
Sharpie is possible but sharpie crew should check the trailer and arrange
towing and I can bet that it will be the only sharpie in the fleet.
Previous years (except when we hosted the event) lasers and tasars were
enough to satisfy everyone. In the past we also agreed that the highest
priority to be given to a) students b) experienced sailors.
If we need the second tasar there is some work to be done on it.  Also if
we use both trailers we'll need to get more straps.
Thus, I propose that first we estimate the number of participants to see
whether we need to do an extra work. Please write down your name here

by the end of Friday, the 22nd of March, if you are committed to go. Then,
if there is a need we'll get together for the first pre-trip on one of the
next weekend days to do necessary preparations and preliminary boat
allocation and check.
