Dear all - I am looking for helpers for the sres1001 Kioloa field
trip particularly someone able to run the "forest
history/interpretation" walk. As outlined on the course webpage
http://sres-resources.anu.edu.au/restricted/1/SRES1001/field_trip.html
(page is open to anyone with an anu u-number and password) the trip
involves two groups of students coming down.

Trip one leaving from SRES carpark (near Robertson Lecture Theatre)
ANU 9:00 am April 9th returning April 11th about 5:00 pm

Trip two leaving from front of Earth and Marine Science building
(across road from Burton and Garran Hall) ANU 9:00 am April 11th
returning April 13th about 5:00 pm

Each group of students gets divided into 3 to rotate through 3
separate activities, one of which is the forest walk that has in the
past been done by David Dumaresq and/or PK. As there will be about
50 students on each trip each sub-group is around 16-17 students.

David is away this year and Peter is committed to a very poorly timed
Heads meeting that is during the Tuesday changeover period so he can
not travel down or up with either group of students! If someone
else was prepared to volunteer to run the forest walk for the first
couple of days Peter might be able to drive down late on Tuesday and
run the activities for the last two days.

cheers
