About scuna_alumni

A mailing list established on 5 May 2004 for former members and long-term members of SCUNA (the ANU Choral Society). This mailing list was created as a result of the reunion held during SCUNA's 40th birthday celebrations in December 2003. All former members, conductors and accompanists are welcome to subscribe, as are current members with an interest in SCUNA's history. Suggested uses of the list include: investigating and recording SCUNA's history locating more ex-SCUNAe sharing news of old friends planning or advertising social and/or musical events of interest to subscribers It's not envisaged that this will be a high-traffic list - just a place for generally keeping in touch. Subscribers should bear in mind that replying to a list message will send a message to all subscribers. List membership is private and closed - subscriptions to the list have to be approved. A size limit of 30K has been set on list messages, and attachments and HTML will be stripped. These measures should ensure that the list is virus- and spam-free, and that the archives are legible. Using scuna_alumni

To post a message to all the list members, send email to scuna_alumni@anu.edu.au. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.

Subscribing to scuna_alumni

Subscribe to scuna_alumni by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options.
