Dear AQUA community,

It is with great pleasure that I can announce that 100 sites from the
Indo-Pacific pollen database are now live on Neotoma! Site number 100 was
core KG951VC1, taken off the Queensland coast. This milestone comes after a
recent effort to get greater representation of this region in global
datasets.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, and as an early Christmas present for
you all, I have created a Neotoma taxon translator that will automatically
convert taxon names to the Neotoma-approved version. I have attempted to
attach it here, but in case that doesn't work and you are interested,
contact me and I will send you a copy.

If you want to know more about how you can get your sites uploaded to
Neotoma, please contact me, Annika Herbert, by emailing me at
annika.herbert at anu.edu.au.

Wishing you all the best for a joyful and relaxing holiday period,
Annika
