Ahoy there sailors,

Tuross Trip
Coming up this w/e is a trip to Tuross Lake on the coast. It's not too late to sign up if you are interested.

Tuesday Twilights
These free sessions are going well with up to 15 boats on the water (us and YMCA). The YMCA trainer commented on how much the ANU sailors had improved in the past few weeks. Be at the shed at 5.30 on Tuesday if you are interested.

Sharpie Crew
Let me know if you are interested in crewing a Sharpie. These boats really fly and need three to sail them so there are often opportunities available. Contact me if you want to be introduced to local skippers.

Free Coaching in YMCA Saturday races
I'm organising a coaching session during the regular Saturday YMCA races to support new sailors thru a real race. Watch this space for an announcement of when that will be.

Acquisitions
The club has bought two new top masts for the lasers. These will go on the race boats. We also plan to use the proceeds from the intermadiate course to buy two new sails ($180 each; very cheap) a new rudder blade and some other fittings. We may also order a trolley to increase ease of use.

A big thank you
A big thanks to everybody who chipped in to make the two beginners courses, intermediate course, powerboat practical and Women in Sailing Day a big success. We've had something on every w/e for the last two months and have had more than two hundred uses of equipment so far this season. To everybody who completed the courses, thanks for your enthusiam and energy and I'll look forward to seeing you on the water soon.

Contact me if you have any ideas for club activities.

Cheers, Adam
