Welcome to the Australian-languages listThe Australian-languages List was established in September 2010 by the AIATSIS Centre for Australian Languages (ACAL) for use by individuals and community groups who support the future of Indigenous Australian (Aboriginal and Islander) languages, including creoles and the many Aboriginal and Islander English dialects.The List is hosted on the mailman.anu.edu.au server at the Australian National University.

We prefer you to speak to each other in a language we all know a bit about, English? But if you want to use another language that's ok too. Subscribing to Australian-languages | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
Subscribe to Australian-languages by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator.
