Message forwarded from Nick Lancaster.

Dear Colleagues:

I am writing to you as Secretary General of the next INQUA Congress, to be
held July 23-31, 2003, at the Reno Hilton Resort and Conference Center.

This message is to update you on the progress of planning for the Congress
and to ask for your help in publicizing the Congress by ensuring that, in
your country, all Quaternary scientists and others who may be interested are
aware of the dates of the meeting and the ways in which they can stay
informed of the Congress program and deadlines.

To minimize costs, we are making e-mail and the world-wide web the main
means of disseminating information about the meeting. The congress web site
is: http://www.dri.edu/DEES/INQUA2003/inqua_home.htm

I encourage you to visit the website to learn about the exciting scientific
and field trip programs that are planned, to find out more about the
location of the meeting, and to register your interest to receive future
notifications by e mail.

I look forward to meeting you all in Reno in July 2003.

Sincerely

--
