Postgraduate Travel Awards

Dear all,

This is a reminder to anyone who is eligible or knows of someone who is
eligible for the AQUA Postgraduate Travel Award that applications are
now being accepted for this years award. Details can be found on the
AQUA web site and are summarised below.

This prize is to support a student currently enrolled in a postgraduate
degree in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea or Fiji in the field
of Quaternary studies, to attend an international conference at which
they will present results of their research. An international conference
held in Australia or New Zealand also qualifies for the award. The
intention is that attendance at the conference and the presentation
should enhance the student's career and Quaternary studies in
Australasia. The successful applicant must submit a report on the
conference for publication in the AQUA's journal, Quaternary
Australasia. The recipient must be a member of AQUA.

The value of the award is A$1000.
