AQUA Biennial Conference
Westport New Zealand
3 - 7 February 2003

Thank you to all those who have registered it is looking like being a very
good meeting, with over 60 registrations so far. In fact due to the
positive response we have added an extra half day. The conference will now
go from the 3rd - 7th Feburary 2003, however the time has now come for
final registration payments and abstract submission.

Abstracts and payment will therefore be due by 15th November. The
conference fee remains at $130/$60 (members/member students) which includes
an abstract book, morning/afternoon tea and lunch. The mid conference field
trip will cost an additional $40 and $190 for the pre and $140 for the post
conference field trips.

Payment may be in the form of a bank cheque (Aust or NZ bank) payable to
"Victoria University of Wellington" or MasterCard/VISA. A payment form can
be downloaded from the web page
(http://www.geo.vuw.ac.nz/conferences/aqua03/index.html)

Abstracts should be submitted electronically (to: david.kennedy at vuw.ac.nz)
in the format indicated on the web page as a Microsoft Word document.

Students don't forget to get in early for accommodation at the conference
venue and apply for a travel grant for the conference.
